Our roots in Sturgis and passion for photography
Born and raised in Sturgis, with generations of family history here, the rally is in my blood. My husband's family were among the roots of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, fostering friendships with families like the Hoyles. Photography has been second nature to me since I started shooting at age 5 with my homemade oatmeal canister camera. My parents, also avid photographers, nurtured my passion, and I still consult my Mom and Dad for photo critiques. What I love most about the rally is meeting people and photographing all the beauty the Black Hills has to offer.
Capturing the heart of the hills
My secret to amazing photography shots lies in practice and the unwavering passion to capture the best shot. I love the hills, and I enjoy getting up early with my husband to find that perfect moment. My goal is to leave everyone with a little piece of the Black Hills, immortalized in a photograph or a personalized accessory like magnets, keychains, and books.
